Privacy
ziptane.com is run by Abu Shadab Anjum. You can reach me at hello@ziptane.com. This page explains what the site collects when you request beta access, why, where it is stored and how to have it deleted.
What I collect
Your email address, when you request beta access. After you confirm it, you can answer one optional question: what you would build with Ziptane. If you answer, I store your answer with your email address. Nothing else is collected through the form.
Why
To invite you to the Ziptane private beta, to email you about the beta and Ziptane's launch, and to understand what developers want to build. I process this data with your consent, which you give by confirming your email address (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time; that doesn't affect what happened before.
Where it is stored
Your email address and answer are stored with Resend, the email service that sends the confirmation email and beta updates. Resend processes them on my behalf, and may do so in the United States.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a request comes from a person, not a bot, using technical signals from your browser and your IP address; it doesn't use cookies to track you.
How long I keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it, and no longer than the private beta and Ziptane's public launch need. A request that is never confirmed is deleted within 30 days.
Your rights and deletion
You can ask to see the data I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email hello@ziptane.com from the address you signed up with, and I'll do it within 30 days. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one where you live.
I don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
